Sketching Event: Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs

Cancelled due to smoke advisory!

Rod Z and Sandy O will be your hosts.

Description: The Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs cover several acres of land. It started out as a 400 square foot ornamental garden within the existing BirthPlace Forest. Volunteers have tirelessly turned this area into a beautiful garden. There are over fourteen individual gardens each displaying unique features, all accessible by mulch paths. If you love to paint flowers, this is your spot.

Note it is also a dog off leash area. Expect extra attention and possibly a nose painting added to your sketch by a friendly canine.

Find a spot and start sketching when you arrive. Feel free to arrive earlier. Plan to meet up at 13:15 east side of parking lots, north end of the Border Garden. (Near the entrance to the Botanical Gardens.) See Garden Directory tab in website below.
