W🌞W, another great spring day.
Eight sketchers came out to explore the community of Tuxedo Park today. Many commented that it would be a good one to come back to. It is interesting exploring our older communities and sketching the history! It was brought to my attention by Pam L that the Tuxedo Park Bungalow School is set for demolition due to the Green Line construction. You may want to put it in your schedule to sketch. I could not find any info as to when this this happening, but the building is empty and boarded up. https://calgaryheritage.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Tuxedo-Park-School-Fact-Sheet.pdf
I will be working on the April Sketchule in the coming days, and it will be posted in the coming weeks by Jeff D. First event will be our Virtual Sketch with our Sister City during the week of April 10, theme yet to be announced. Good news, Erin J has gotten us free access to the Elm tree at Stampede Park, watch for this sketching event near the end of April.

Wonderful sketches and history! So sad about the school. That is such a lovely old building – full of character.
