The weather was great last Saturday to finally sketch the Inglewood Bridge.
I added the details later at home.
The Market Square in Antwerp is a beautiful place and I spent 2 hours capturing all the windows.
Fortunately I found a comfortable bench.
Hoorn was once a seaport but dams were built to keep out the sometime violent North Sea and it now lies on a fresh water lake. The tower was part of the town’s fortification during the golden age of empire but now remains an imposing remnant.
I was happy to sketch this from the deck of our river cruise boat, appreciating the comfort and service.
Happy sketching everyone!
